Middle School Spring 2018

middle school working together

The Middle School Spring Season offers a coed team for all 7th and 8th graders. The program is the building block to the high school level and there is an emphasis on building a strong foundation in proper technique. The goal of the program is to build technique, to promote sportsmanship, introduce proper equipment handling and water safety, and improve general fitness.

Middle School Program Dates:

March 19 - May 27

The spring season starts well before the water has warmed up, so very often the season begins with indoor training and conditioning. As a culmination to the season, the middle school team will compete in in-house scrimmages and possible regattas close to home.

The mandatory informational meeting for rowers and parents will be held Thursday March 1 at 6:30 - 7:30PM Port Washington Library. All parents and rowers should attend.

Practices begin in March 19, 2018 and are scheduled 4 times per week, Mon - Wed - Thu - Fri from 4 - 6:30PM.

Registration is open! If you sign up by March 12 you will receive a $50 discount ($675). The normal registration fee applies from March 13 till March 27 ($725), when you register after March 27 you will pay $50 extra ($775).
